DC plans to lure Redskins back to city with 100k-seat dome
DC Mayor Adrian Fenty today announced plans to lure the Washington Redskins back to the city by building a 100,000 seat domed stadium. By building a dome, DC can also increase their chances to host the Super Bowl. The Redskins left DC in 1997 to play at FedEx Field in Landover, MD (then known as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium).
