Tight end Smith receives franchise tag from Philly
Tight ends are quickly becoming very valuable to NFL teams. Look at Jason Witten of the Dallas Cowboys, Boss with the Giants. It appears now that L.J. Smith with Philadelphia is proving to be very valuable to the Philadelphia Eagles as the Franchise tag was placed on him.
